Housekeeping Aide (Full-Time)

Edenbrook Yeadon is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Housekeeping Aides to join our team.

Schedule: Shifts starts at 7 am

Position Summary

• You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and homelike environment throughout the facility. Your work ensures the health and safety of residents, staff, and visitors while helping create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility spaces according to established cleaning protocols
• Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and buffing
• Remove trash and soiled linens and restock supplies as needed
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel
• Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, and staff
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  
  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Experience in any housekeeping field preferred
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff.
• Knowledge of infection control techniques.
• Ability to be patient and polite.
