Housekeeping and Laundry Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring that all laundry services meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and laundry operations, particularly in a hotel or similar environment, and will be committed to providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
• Handle dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are cleaned according to specifications.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry products, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries regarding housekeeping services.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning and laundry operations, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and thoroughly.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
