MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

To maximize customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean rooms in accordance with the hotel standards, and to provide efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble free and proactive service to guests. In addition, the job incumbent is a resource for public area cleaning. All work will be in line with departmental guidelines and the Hotels service concepts.

DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To clean tidy and set-up the entire assigned front and back of the house areas, as per the hotel standards and procedures.
  • To keep all equipment clean, tidy and well maintained as per the Housekeeping Operations Manual, including proper and secure storage.
  • To have a complete understanding of the different cleaning products and their use.
  • To carry out special projects according to the assignments.
  • To report any damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor for action and follow up.
  • To keep all keys signed out in a secure manner and return them at the end of the shift to the Housekeeping Office.
  • To hand over to the Supervisor / Assistant Housekeeping Manager all Lost and Found Items with full and detailed information.
  • To attend to guests requests courteously and promptly in the course of duty.
  • To ensure that all guests enjoy their stay being offered the finest personal service.
  • To escort the guests rather than pointing out directions.
  • To respect the privacy of the guests and the confidentiality of the information.
  • To report any guest comment or complaint.
  • To attend a daily line up briefing with the Housekeeping team.

MANDATORY RESPONSIBILITIES: (These responsibilities are mandatory to all positions)

  • To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.
  • To provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
  • To maintain good working relationships with your colleagues and all other departments.
  • To be aware of the hotel’s Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • To comply with UAE legislation as required.
  • To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the hotel.
  • To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
  • To attend training and meetings as and when required

The candidates on Visit visa and hotel experience will be preferred .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,100.00 - AED1,300.00 per month
