Housekeeping Attendant

Housekeeping Attendant (Full-time)

Primary Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain public areas of Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, parking garage, and other common spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and decorative items
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department or Environmental Services Supervisor
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external guests by being friendly and helpful

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and other staff members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
