Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the medical resort. The role supports a wellness-oriented and medically compliant environment, ensuring guest comfort, patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality always. The position requires flexibility to work across multiple areas aligned with operational needs.


Key Responsibilities

Guest Rooms, Villas & Residences

  • Clean, sanitize, and service guest rooms, villas, and residences according to medical resort standards and VIP expectations.
  • Strip, change, and properly handle bed linen and towels following infection-control and linen-handling procedures.
  • Replenish guest amenities, minibar support items (as applicable), and medical wellness products.
  • Ensure rooms are properly ventilated, odor-free, and prepared according to arrival, stayover, and departure standards.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items immediately.

Medical & Wellness Areas

  • Clean, disinfect, and prepare medical treatment rooms, consultation rooms, therapy spaces, recovery areas, and hydrotherapy zones.
  • Strictly adhere to medical-grade cleaning protocols and approved disinfectants or chemical-free cleaning methods.
  • Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and dignity always.
  • Work closely with medical professionals to ensure cleaning activities do not interrupt treatments or consultations.
  • Comply with infection prevention, cross-contamination control, and waste disposal procedures.

Public Areas

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of lobbies, corridors, lounges, elevators, staircases, and public restrooms.
  • Continuously monitor high-traffic areas and ensure immediate attention to spills, stains, or guest-impacting issues.
  • Ensure restroom supplies are fully stocked and hygienic.


Back of the House (BOH)

  • Clean and maintain staff offices, locker rooms, pantries, dining areas, and service corridors.
  • Ensure BOH areas meet hygiene, safety, and occupational health standards.
  • Support waste segregation, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.

Beach Club & Outdoor Areas

  • Clean and reset beach and pool loungers, daybeds, and cabanas according to luxury presentation standards.
  • Remove sand, water, and debris from decks, walkways, and pool surrounds.
  • Maintain beach club restrooms, showers, and changing rooms with continuous monitoring.
  • Support towel control, replacement, and presentation standards.

Operational & Guest Service Duties

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest or patient requests.
  • Support special events, peak periods, and operational demands assigned.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and other departments.
  • Demonstrate courtesy, discretion, and service excellence always.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, infection-control standards, fire and emergency procedures, and medical confidentiality requirements. Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and report any hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.

The Housekeeping Attendant is expected to uphold the brand’s commitment to excellence, discretion, wellness, and cleanliness, ensuring that all areas consistently reflect the premium medical and luxury positioning of Clinique La Prairie. Strict adherence to approved SOPs, presentation standards, and quality guidelines is always mandatory.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous housekeeping experience in luxury hotels, hospitals, or medical/wellness resorts preferred.
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards, infection control, and safe cleaning practices.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules.
  • Physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of standing and moving for extended periods.
