Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential spaces, or commercial areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure pristine conditions.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care and efficiency.
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, and applying appropriate treatments to carpets and hard floors to keep surfaces spotless and well-maintained.
• Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, cleaning products, and amenities to ensure all areas are fully equipped for guest or resident needs.
• Follow strict sanitation procedures during cleaning tasks to promote health safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Use janitorial equipment effectively for tasks such as carpet cleaning or specialized floor care to enhance cleanliness and appearance.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests or concerns from guests or residents with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience is highly desirable; hotel or residential cleaning background is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respond courteously to inquiries or requests.
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies; familiarity with housekeeper management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods; ability to lift moderate weights as needed.
