Duties

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas on assigned floors
• Conduct regular inspections to verify adherence to cleanliness standards, safety protocols, and hotel policies
• Assign daily tasks to team members based on occupancy levels and special requests, optimizing workflow for maximum efficiency
• Provide training and mentorship to housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and customer service excellence
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and maintenance
• Address guest concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally to enhance overall satisfaction
• Maintain detailed records of room status updates, maintenance issues, and team performance for reporting purposes

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, floor care techniques, and janitorial best practices
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial supplies
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with organizational skills for managing multiple priorities
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, guests, and management in a fast-paced setting
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
