Housekeeping Floor Tech

Job Description

Cleans all building furnishings, including: equipment castors, windows, fixtures, ceilings, walls, floors, nursing care utensils, partitions, vents, toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, tubs, elevators, refrigerators and other surfaces as assigned

Changes linen on designated beds according to the resident bath schedule and bed-strip schedule. Cleans bed frames as indicated on bed-strip schedule

Burnishes, scrubs and refinishes hard surface floors as assigned

Shampoos carpets and chairs when visibly soiled or when a resident room is deep cleaned

Ensures adequate amount of supplies of hand soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, toilet tissue in resident rooms, public restrooms and public areas

Cleans tenant apartments in residence building includes cleaning all areas of the bathroom, sweeping and mopping kitchen floor, vacuuming carpet, vacuuming hallways, and dusting lobby furniture, if assigned

Cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment daily

Uses universal precautions when cleaning contaminated items and contaminated rooms

Removes trash from resident rooms, resident areas and all public areas

Responds to requests from nursing staff and other staff in a timely manner

Performs duties in a safe manner, utilizing safety equipment and following procedures at all times

Deep Cleans floors

Understands the use of each chemical and how to use each chemical safely

Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner at all times

10am-6:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $15.88 per hour
