Housekeeping House Attendant at Manor Vail Lodge ($20/hr)

Location Description:  Manor Vail Lodge is one of Vail's original and iconic properties.  Overview: 
The Housekeeping supervisor maintains lodge standards relative to ensuring that cleaning personnel are supervised in their daily cleaning tasks by inspecting hotel guestrooms, public areas, the laundry department and assisting in administrative duties.  The Supervisor also oversee the Golden Peak Housekeeping and Public Area needs.

Housekeeping House attendants earn $20/hr).  This is a full time seasonal position.


This position plans to be filled by 4/30/2026 for summer season




Summary:  Provides supplies and assistance to Housekeeping Staff, Manager on Duty and Front Desk Staff. Helps to maintain cleanliness of properties public spaces. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities  include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 


-Moves and arranges furniture.


-Turns Mattresses


-Arranges decorations, apparatus, or furniture for banquets and social functions.


-Collects soiled linens for laundering, and receives and stores linen supplies in linen closet.


-Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.


-Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.


-Cleans Fireplaces.


-Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.


-Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.


-Transports trash and waste to disposal area.


-Replenishes bathroom supplies.


-Replaces light bulbs.


-Delivers television sets, ironing boards, baby cribs, and rollaway beds to guest rooms.


-Cleans and removes debris and snow from walkways and stairways.


-Generally, supports overall housekeeping operations.


Qualifications:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Ability:


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Math Ability:


Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.


Reasoning Ability: 


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
