Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning and maintaining public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms to ensure they are spotless and inviting.
• Support housekeeping staff by delivering linens, supplies, and cleaning equipment to various areas throughout the property.
• Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing to keep all surfaces pristine and safe for guests.
• Ensure all cleaning tools and materials are properly stored, maintained, and used according to safety standards.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of guest rooms during turnover shifts, including moving furniture or equipment as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing.
• Follow all safety protocols related to industrial cleaning, janitorial procedures, and hazardous material handling to maintain a secure environment for staff and guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial equipment enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
• Experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments demonstrates your capability to handle diverse cleaning challenges efficiently.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus for those interested in advancing within the industry.
