Job Summary

Duties
- Perform detailed inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to verify cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation.
- Identify areas needing attention or repair and communicate effectively with housekeeping staff to ensure prompt resolution.
- Monitor cleaning procedures, including floor care, surface sanitation, and waste disposal, to maintain hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular audits of janitorial supplies and equipment to ensure proper usage and inventory levels.
- Enforce safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial practices to protect staff and guests alike.
- Document inspection findings accurately, complete reports, and follow up on corrective actions as needed.
- Support housekeeping management by providing training insights and feedback on cleaning procedures to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques.
- Knowledge of floor care methods, including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Previous experience in hospitality environments or hotel settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment, industrial cleaning tools, and safety standards related to custodial work.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple inspections efficiently.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and management regarding inspection outcomes.
