Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and maintenance of company premises. The role includes managing housekeeping staff, maintaining high hygiene standards, and ensuring efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and manage housekeeping staff and daily schedules
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, offices, and common areas
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Handle staff performance, attendance, and discipline when required
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Address and resolve cleaning or maintenance-related issues promptly
  • Prepare reports and maintain housekeeping records

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
  • Ability to manage teams and work under pressure
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Flexibility to work shifts if required
