Housekeeping Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready.

This is a working leadership position—you will be actively involved in daily operations while guiding and supporting your team to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms and public areas
  • Create staff schedules based on hotel occupancy and business needs
  • Create daily boards, assign room attendants, and manage productivity
  • Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, quality, and brand standards are met
  • Train and coach team members on cleaning procedures and expectations
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals
  • Step in to clean rooms or assist laundry as needed
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience required
  • Hotel experience strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Reliable, hands-on, and team-focused

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
