What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused leader to join our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Manager. In this role, you will support the Director of Rooms in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards and an outstanding guest experience.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, leads by example, and demonstrates professionalism and care in every interaction with guests and team members. This individual is passionate about hospitality, committed to continuous learning, and dedicated to supporting their team both personally and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • To supervise, direct, and assist in the completion of housekeeping tasks assigned to housekeeping team members.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Support financial performance by managing departmental budgets, controlling labor costs, monitoring expenses, and reviewing monthly profit and loss statements
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor team members to build a strong, engaged, and service-driven team
  • Ensure effective training programs are in place; implement coaching, career development, and recognition initiatives
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, including linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities
  • Collaborate with the Front Desk team to manage room inventory and enhance VIP guest programs
  • Lead by example to ensure all guest interactions are handled with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by actively engaging with guests and anticipating their needs
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas; assign and follow up on deep cleaning projects as needed
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively, creating positive recovery experiences
  • Partner closely with Maintenance and Front Desk teams to coordinate daily operations and ensure seamless communication
  • Support other departments as needed, maintaining a collaborative and professional work environment
  • Perform other related duties as requested by Director of Rooms.
