Experienced housekeeping Manager who will train and supervise the team in every area of hotel housekeeping; knowledge of scheduling and controlling supply inventory. Must have a pleasant attitude and be a true team player.
- Assign housekeeping staff to specific shifts and room blocks based on abilities and daily requirements.
- Communicate repair needs to maintenance staff in a timely manner
- Complete schedules, shift reports and other business documentation.
- Manage team productivity and workflow to exceed quality standards.
- Work with front desk to respond promptly to all guest requests.
- Train and mentor all new personnel to maximize quality of service and performance
. Maintain control over expenses and inventory for optimal budget tracking..
- Utilize chemicals and cleaning equipment in accordance with safety protocols and proper operating standards.
- Evaluate employee performance and develop improvement plans.
- Place orders for housekeeping supplies and guest toiletries.
- Manage laundry, including sorting, washing, drying, etc.
