Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and hospitality standards. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, standards, and procedures aligned with hotel or facility policies.
- Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards, health regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Lead by example in maintaining a high level of professionalism, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest concerns related to cleanliness promptly and effectively to enhance overall experience.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within a hospitality or commercial cleaning environment.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Extensive janitorial experience including cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials.
- Knowledge of laundry operations and linen management within a hotel or similar setting.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, health regulations, and safety procedures.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and coordinate tasks efficiently.
