Housekeeping Manager (MARRIOTT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manger with a strong background in Marriott hospitality standards to oversee daily housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will possess hotel experience, demonstrate leadership in housekeeping management, and ensure the delivery of exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role requires a proactive individual who can coordinate cleaning teams, maintain high standards, and support a positive work environment within a busy hotel setting.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure rooms and public areas are maintained to Marriott standards
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and quality service
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hotel policies
  • Oversee floor care operations including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of hard surfaces
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and stock levels
  • Address guest requests or complaints promptly to uphold guest satisfaction
  • Enforce safety procedures related to janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest experience

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial, or industrial cleaning roles, with demonstrated housekeeping management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of floor care, cleaning techniques, and hospitality standards
  • Prior experience working within a Marriott or similar hotel environment is required
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to train staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning equipment, and safety regulations in a hospitality setting
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to support hotel operations
  • BILINGUAL PREFERED
