Housekeeping Mid-rise Apartment Building

This opportunity is for a housekeeper for a mid rise apartment building, providing cleaning service for the indoor common areas. You would not be expected to clean individual apartment units. Duties would include but not limited to;

Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- High school degree or equivalent

- Buffing

- Industrial cleaning

- Facilities maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness standards in all assigned areas
- Clean assigned areas including furniture, telephones, fixtures, walls, windows, window sills, blinds, vents, radiators, mirrors, light fixtures, baseboards, carpeted areas, etc.
- Custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash cans and recycling bins
- Floor care including stripping, waxing, buffing floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals
