- Inspecting rooms and common areas: Visually inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they are clean and in working order
- Ensuring cleanliness: Ensure that cleaning conditions are met and that housekeepers meet quality standards
- Supervising staff: Supervise team members, such as guest room attendants and housemen, on assigned floors
- Training staff: Assist in training new housekeeping team members
- Recording deficiencies: Record service and quality deficiencies and notify cleaning personnel of inadequacies
- Communicating with other departments: Communicate with other hotel departments regarding problems that need their attention
- Preparing reports: Complete daily housekeeping reports and weekly inventory
- Handling maintenance requests: Ensure that maintenance requests are handled efficiently
- Handling guest complaints: Solve guest complaints
- Handling lost and found: Report lost and found articles
- Other duties as assigned.
