Housekeeping - Skilled Nursing Facility

Brighton Place Spring Valley is a 70-bed nursing home located in Spring Valley. We are looking for a full-time housekeeper who will work independently, 5-days per week, doing housekeeping related assignments. These include sweeping, mopping, cleaning all service areas, deep cleaning, emptying trash receptacles, etc.

Typically, a single housekeeper will be assigned a section of the facility to clean each day and also help with the daily deep cleaning assignment with the other housekeeping staff.

TECHNICAL

• Performs tasks to ensure a safe, comfortable and sanitary environment for all residents, staff and visitors according to established policies and procedures.

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Attends meetings and in-services as required.
• Reports problems and needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal, Sate and Corporate requirements.
• Participates in assigned meetings and in-services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, understand and speak English for business necessity.
• Prior experience in a Long Term Care preferred.

CONSUMER SERVICE

• Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
