Job Summary:

To ensure that room cleanliness is maintained consistently to achieve customer satisfaction and Hotel quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report 10 minutes before for the duty and updating information’s from night shift and desk coordinators.
  • Ensure all day-to-day information for the maids are communicated/shared in daily briefings such as VIP arrivals, Master arrivals & Trace reports.
  • Should hold daily briefings with the HK attendants to discuss instruction and persons for any complaints.
  • Ensure the guest rooms, public area, corridors, services areas and staircases are spotless.
  • Ensure that guest rooms and public areas are correct and well supplied and maintained with quality Standards.
  • Inspect rooms efficiently for sell the room in good condition in order achieve high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure VIP rooms, full paying guests, & all celebration guest rooms are well prepared promptly.
  • Notify the housekeeping office or AEHK when damage has occurred by the fault of the guest.
  • Ensure the HK attendants are fully complied ABC of Housekeeping cleaning methods.
  • Continue to train the HK attendants and inspect all finished job during their work in a guest room and public area
  • Update/Report to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper on the performances and developments of HK attendants and recommend for any further.
  • Train HK attendants to take pride in their performed task by praising/coaching/ and guiding them.
  • Here are four basic points a supervisor has to accomplish:

(Cleanliness, Completeness, Condition, presentations, Quality Standards, Customer Satisfaction)

  • Responsible for the linen inventory on assign floor according to the Hotel operation.
  • Has to submit handover tasks to the morning/evening and follow through.
  • Room Inspection check list to update on daily basis with minimum of three checklists per day and maximum of twelve per month.
  • Linen Runners Inspection check list to be updated on daily basis.
  • Duty chart to be prepared on weekly basis.
  • HK attendants vacation days and lieu days to be organized according to the operation with communicating to AEHK
  • Deep Cleaning schedule to be carried out whenever it’s applicable.
  • Report and track all maintenance required room and follow through.
  • Attends communication meetings. Highlight courses in house training sessions, cross exposure training and assigned Marriott courses.
  • Always represent well-groomed appearance.
  • Ensure to have full knowledge about all HK policy procedures.
  • Strict compliance with hotel safety and security standards in guest rooms at all-time.
  • Carry out the related duties instructed by AEHK
  • Respects guest privacy and does not discuss any private information with colleagues.
  • Carries out emergency procedures as per Hotel Emergency policy.
  • Complies with hotel standards in relation to hygiene and personal presentation

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous housekeeping Supervisor experience in 5 star hotels.

- Good physical fitness and stamina for performing physically demanding tasks.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.

- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues.

- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
