Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive janitorial and custodial experience, and a passion for maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will coordinate daily cleaning operations, supervise staff, and ensure that all areas meet regulatory and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all departments of the facility.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Develop schedules for cleaning routines, ensuring timely completion of tasks in resident areas, common spaces, and administrative offices.
• Oversee floor care operations, including carpet cleaning, waxing, stripping, and polishing to maintain a pristine environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and maintenance of sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with management to implement improvements in cleaning procedures or equipment usage that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial services, custodial work, or industrial cleaning within a healthcare or hospitality setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet maintenance.
• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or similar supervisory roles is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety regulations, and sanitation practices relevant to healthcare facilities.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
