• 
  Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
• 
  Oversee staff on a daily basis
• 
  Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
• 
  Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence, manage labor expense and overall budget for department
• 
  Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards

• 
  1 year of Housekeeping supervisor experience
• 
  knowledgeable of housekeeping practices and procedures in the long-term care facility preferred
• 
  Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc., of the Housekeeping Department
