Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and hospitality standards. Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all designated areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and back-of-house operations
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to uphold company standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer service
  • Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels while maintaining efficiency and quality standards
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and cleanliness benchmarks
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; order replenishments as needed
  • Implement and monitor cleaning procedures for various surfaces and materials using appropriate janitorial techniques
  • Oversee laundry operations to ensure timely processing of linens and uniforms while maintaining quality control
  • Address guest or staff concerns promptly with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, staff performance, inventory levels, and incident reports

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hospitality or commercial cleaning environment
  • Strong background in cleaning techniques, including janitorial services, laundry management, and general custodial work
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience in hotel or hospitality settings highly preferred
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices and facility management
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff, management, and guests effectively
