Schedule: 5 days per week; weekends and holidays required

If so, the Quality Inn Temecula Valley Wine Country is looking for a dependable and experienced Head Housekeeper to help lead our housekeeping team.

This is a working leadership role where you will lead by example—supporting the housekeeping team while actively participating in daily operations. The Head Housekeeper plays an important role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable stay while helping the team stay organized, supported, and successful each day.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership

• Supervise and support housekeeping team members during daily operations
• Provide direction to ensure guest rooms meet hotel and brand cleanliness standards
• Assist with onboarding and training new housekeeping staff
• Communicate with the Front Desk and management regarding room status and daily priorities

Daily Housekeeping Operations

• Clean guest rooms daily as part of regular shift responsibilities
• Ensure rooms are guest-ready and maintained according to hotel standards
• Maintain attention to detail to support a positive guest experience

Laundry Operations

• Assist with laundry operations daily, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Help ensure adequate linen inventory and proper handling of laundry supplies

Department Organization & Inventory

• Maintain housekeeping storage areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Monitor cleaning supplies, linens, and department inventory
• Communicate supply needs to management

Team Support

• Step in to assist with rooms, laundry, or department coverage when staffing gaps occur
• Support the team during high-occupancy periods to ensure daily housekeeping goals are met

What We're Looking For

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience required
• Lead Housekeeper or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lead by example in a hands-on hospitality environment
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Perform repetitive cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, and making beds
• Push and move housekeeping carts throughout the property
• Bend, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds

Pay Transparency:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $23.00 per hour.
Compensation within this range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and job-related factors, consistent with California pay transparency requirements.
