Housekeeping Supervisor - Tower/Brook

Job Requirements

Starting Pay Rate: $47,476.00 yearly


The Housekeeping Supervisor is a key role within the Crescent Hotel’s new expansion, responsible for managing daily housekeeping operations including staffing and scheduling, training and inspections, inventory control, safety compliance, and coordination with the Front Desk to ensure efficient operations, high cleanliness standards, and an exceptional guest experience.

What does a Housekeeping Supervisor do?:

  • Manages staffing by scheduling days off, monitoring hours, adjusting coverage based on occupancy, and preparing daily assignments and schedules.
  • Oversees linen and supply control, including requisitions, invoices, inventories, and ensuring adequate stock.
  • Coordinates special project cleaning and conducts daily room inspections, addressing deficiencies with Team Leaders.
  • Handles recruitment, interviewing, hiring coordination with HR and management, and ensures proper training before independent assignment.
  • Maintains communication with the Front Desk and updates all room status, special requests, and daily reports in the hotel system.
  • Ensures safety compliance, conducts safety training, leads shift meetings, and communicates policy, promotional, and scheduling updates while managing efficient breaks and shifts.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll need:

  • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must have prior experience in hotel housekeeping.
  • Prior leadership experience required.
  • Must have knowledge of all housekeeping standards.
  • Scheduling experience required.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time and lift up to 60 pounds.
