POSITION TITLE:HOUSEMAN / HOUSEPERSON

DEPARTMENT :ROOMS DIVISION

REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPING / HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for maintaining clean common areas. For example: parking lot, halls, staircases, public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas and other designated items as needed. Supports the Rooms Division through moving heavy items such as mattresses, linens, chairs, tables, and other items.

JOB DUTIES

1. Clean public areas (halls, elevators, lobby, etc.) and ensure cleanliness standards.

2. Report cleaning supply and equipment needs to the Executive Housekeeper.

3. Follow checklists for thorough room cleaning, including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.

4. Clean parking lot and lobby area as required.

5. Maintain stairwells, elevators, and pool area.

6. Flip mattresses, move furniture, and assist in other tasks as directed.

7. Attend staff meetings, follow security and emergency protocols.

8. Handle Lost and Found items securely and assist other staff when needed.

9. Communicate with management about issues and corrective actions.

10. Foster a cooperative work environment, maintain positive public image, and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

11. Respond courteously to guest questions and complaints.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
