Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facility, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to janitorial and custodial tasks, with a focus on high standards of cleanliness and safety. Prior experience in hospitality, hotel housekeeping, or industrial cleaning is highly valued. The Houseman will play a vital role in supporting the overall cleanliness and maintenance operations within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Stripping the check out rooms / removing garbage rooms
• Conduct floor care activities such as polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning as needed
• Assist with hotel or facility guest room cleaning and replenishing supplies when required
• Support custodial operations by maintaining restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other public areas
• Utilize janitorial equipment safely and effectively to ensure optimal cleaning results
• Follow safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial work
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and equipment

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial services, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation is advantageous
• Experience in hospitality or hospitality management roles is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality work standards

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
