Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and applying appropriate treatments to ensure a spotless appearance
• Assist with hotel operations by setting up meeting rooms, restocking supplies, and supporting housekeeping staff as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, elevators, and other common areas to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Support industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning carpets, upholstery, and specialized equipment to ensure long-lasting cleanliness
• Handle custodial responsibilities including waste removal, replenishing amenities, and ensuring all areas are tidy and well-organized
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to promote a safe environment for staff and guests

Experience

• Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
• Hands-on janitorial or custodial experience demonstrating proficiency in cleaning techniques and equipment use
• Knowledge of floor care methods including polishing, stripping, sealing, and buffing floors
• Experience with industrial or large-scale cleaning projects is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service principles is advantageous
• Previous supervisory or housekeeping management experience is beneficial but not required
