Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hard working houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Assisting housekeeping with stripping rooms when needed
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and take out public space trash to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
• Assist in deep cleaning projects as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor.
• Moving necessary furniture in rooms for deep cleans
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
• Uphold the hotel's standards of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
