Job Summary
The Craddock Terry Hotel, an award-winning boutique hotel in Downtown Lynchburg, is adding to their team. We are hiring for a part-time Houseman/ Parking Attendant position.

This energetic position combines custodial responsibilities with parking management duties, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and staff alike. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning duties across various areas, including floors, lobbies, corridors, and public spaces, utilizing appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe.
• Manage parking operations by directing vehicles efficiently, assisting guests with parking needs, and ensuring smooth traffic flow within the parking area.
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
• Support hospitality efforts by assisting guests with directions or inquiries related to parking or facility amenities.
• Monitor the cleanliness of outdoor areas and ensure all walkways are free of debris or hazards.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all custodial tasks align with operational standards and guest expectations.
• Assists in laundering guest's sheets, towel, and duvets

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly preferred.
• Experience working in hotels or hospitality environments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of general cleaning procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods while performing cleaning and parking duties.
• Excellent communication skills to assist guests effectively and coordinate with team members.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Pay: From $13.00 per hour
