Houseman/Laundry Attendant

A Houseman/Laundry Attendant works in a hotel’s housekeeping department, helping keep rooms, linens, and public areas clean and organized.

Main Duties:

• Collect dirty linens, towels, and uniforms from guest rooms
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry
• Deliver clean linens to housekeeping staff and storage areas
• Restock supplies (towels, sheets, toiletries) on carts and floors
• Clean hallways, storage rooms, and public areas
• Pick up trash from hallways and around the hotel and dispose of it in dumpsters
• Assist housekeepers with heavy tasks (moving beds, trash removal)
• Report damaged items or maintenance issues
• Follow safety and cleanliness standards

Skills Needed:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
• Attention to detail
• Time management and teamwork
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced hotel setting
• Standing, walking, bending for long periods
• May work weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cleaning Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Hotel Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
