POSITION SUMMARY

Maintains lobby areas, hallways, storerooms, bathrooms, pool area in a neat and orderly manner by performing the following duties.


Hiring for Part Time 4:00pm - 12:00am. The shifts will include weekends and Holidays.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts
  • Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
  • Clean rooms, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and corridors, so that health standards are met
  • Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
  • Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
  • Sweep, scrub, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing machines
  • Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses
  • Clean draperies and dust window blinds
  • Maintains lobby areas by vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash receptacles as needed
  • Making sure housekeeping carts are stocked with essential needs such as soaps, lotions, towels, coffee, cups, trash bags, pens, sheets, etc.
  • Maintain elevators, making sure they are kept clean and tidy
  • Help out housekeepers as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred

Experience: 3 plus months of experience in Housekeeping and commercial cleaning

Other: Must pass a State and Federal background check and a pre-employment drug screening (which does test for THC).
