Job Summary

The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel. This role supports the housekeeping team by ensuring public areas are clean, assisting with guest requests, and maintaining supply stock levels. The Houseperson exhibits a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service in a full-service hotel environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Assist housekeepers by delivering linen and supplies to guest floors and removing trash and soiled linen.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Set up and break down meeting rooms and banquet spaces as required, ensuring they meet hotel standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and carpet extractors to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the engineering department for prompt resolution.
• Maintain a well-organized supply storeroom, ensuring inventory levels are adequate and supplies are stored properly.
• Assist with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned by management.
• Performs all other job duties as assigned

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
