Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy
- Relevant HPDC experience preferred (Aluminium Die Casting)
Experience
- 3–8 years in HPDC production & shift handling
- Hands-on experience with cold chamber HPDC machines
Job Purpose
To manage complete HPDC production during shift, ensuring safe operations, quality output, productivity, manpower handling, and machine utilization, while meeting daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Production & Shift Management
- Handle complete HPDC production during assigned shift
- Plan and execute daily production as per schedule
- Ensure maximum machine utilization and minimal downtime
- Monitor cycle time, rejection %, and output efficiency
2. Machine & Process Control
- Supervise HPDC machines (e.g., 150T–450T)
- Ensure correct process parameters (temperature, pressure, shot speed, die lubrication)
- Coordinate die change, die warming, and trial runs
- Ensure proper start-up and shutdown procedures
3. Manpower Handling
- Allocate operators, helpers, and die setters shift-wise
- Train operators on safe operation and quality awareness
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity
- Ensure proper handover between shifts
4. Quality Control & Rejection Reduction
- Ensure production as per quality standards and control plan
- Analyze and reduce casting defects (porosity, cold shut, flash, shrinkage, cracks)
- Coordinate with Quality team for inspection and corrective actions
- Ensure segregation and traceability of rejected castings
5. Safety & 5S Compliance
- Enforce safety practices, PPE usage, and SOPs
- Ensure housekeeping, 5S, and workplace discipline
- Prevent accidents and report near misses
- Follow statutory and internal safety requirements
6. Breakdown & Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate with Maintenance team for breakdowns
- Support preventive maintenance activities
- Ensure availability of dies, consumables, and spares
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain shift production reports
- Record downtime, rejection reasons, and corrective actions
- Update DWM / production MIS / shift logs
- Communicate issues to Production Manager
8. Continuous Improvement
- Implement productivity and cost-reduction initiatives
- Support Kaizen, TPM, and process improvement activities
- Participate in audits (ISO, IATF, customer audits)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
