Job Title: HR & Accounts Manager (Permanent Role)

Location: Pune (Hybrid – flexible schedule with a few hours of office visit per week on selected days)

Job Overview

We are a growing digital agency looking for a reliable and detail-oriented HR & Accounts Manager to manage day-to-day HR operations and basic accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who can independently handle HR processes while also managing routine accounting and bookkeeping work.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR)

  • Assist with recruitment activities including coordination, scheduling interviews, and documentation of around 20 -30 people workforce on an yearly average
  • Manage employee onboarding and exit formalities
  • Handle payroll processing, attendance, and leave records
  • Draft, implement, and maintain HR policies, staff policies, and SOPs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and basic labor regulations
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Act as a point of contact for employee HR-related queries

Accounting & Finance

  • Maintain bookkeeping records (approximately 20- 30 client invoices nd expenses per month)
  • Prepare and issue client invoices
  • Maintain client ledgers and accounts
  • Update accounts regularly using Tally
  • Manage basic reconciliations and financial records
  • Maintain financial data using Excel and accounting software
  • Coordinate with external CA/accountant when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in HR operations and accounting/bookkeeping
  • Sound knowledge of payroll management
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally, Excel, and basic accounting principles
  • Familiarity with HR policies, compliance, and documentation
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid and flexible work environment

Experience

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in HR & Accounts (agency/startup experience preferred)
