HR FOR HOSPITAL SECTOR
We are looking for an experienced HR & Administration professional to manage end-to-end HR operations and hospital administration. The role requires hands-on expertise in healthcare HR processes, statutory compliance, staff management, and hospital administrative functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources (HR) Responsibilities
- Handle complete HR lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, performance management, and exit formalities.
- Plan and execute manpower requirements for hospital departments (Doctors, Nurses, Technicians, Admin & Support staff).
- Coordinate with department heads for staff planning and scheduling.
- Manage attendance, shift rosters, leave management, and overtime records.
- Oversee payroll coordination, salary processing, and related documentation.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Implement HR policies, SOPs, and hospital rules.
- Ensure proper employee engagement, retention initiatives, and welfare activities.
- Maintain complete employee records, files, and HR MIS reports.
Administration Responsibilities
- Oversee hospital administration operations including facilities, housekeeping, security, and maintenance.
- Manage vendor coordination (security, housekeeping, pantry, transport, accommodation).
- Ensure smooth functioning of staff accommodation (provided at very low cost).
- Monitor infrastructure maintenance, equipment upkeep, and office assets.
- Handle inventory management for admin-related items.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Coordinate with management on budgeting and cost control for admin expenses.
Statutory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and hospital regulations.
- Handle ESI, PF, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage inspections, audits, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants for legal and compliance matters.
Liaison & Coordination
- Act as a point of contact between management and employees.
- Coordinate with government authorities, medical councils, and external agencies when required.
- Support management in policy decisions and strategic HR planning.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of hospital HR & administration

- Ability to handle large workforce and multiple departments
- Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in MS Office & HR software
- Ability to work under pressure in a healthcare environment
Qualification
- MBA / MSW / PG in HR or Administration
- Additional certification in Hospital Management is an added advantage

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in multi-specialty hospitals / healthcare institutions
