Role summary

Own end-to-end HR operations across people administration, recruitment and onboarding, payroll, compliance, and office admin. Maintain accurate HRIS and records, ensure timely payroll and statutory filings, drive performance and engagement rhythms, and be the first line for employee queries and conflict resolution. The role blends process rigor, confidentiality, and people-first communication.

Key responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding: workforce planning, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, background checks, induction, and probation confirmations.

· Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures: handbooks, SOPs, code of conduct, grievance policy, PoSH compliance, and periodic policy refreshers.

· Handle employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution: run a clear ticketing/SLA cadence, enable managers, and conduct fair investigations with documentation.

· Maintain and update employee records and HRIS: personnel files, attendance, leave, shifts/rosters, assets, contracts, and amendments with audit readiness.

· Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure timely processing: attendance/OT, new joiners/exits, arrears/adjustments, reimbursements, shift allowances; reconcile with Finance and publish payslips.

· Monitor staff performance and organize performance appraisals: cadence management, calibration support, letters (confirmation, increment, PIP), and archival.

· Plan and execute training, workshops, and team-building activities: coordinate vendors, schedules, attendance, feedback, and impact tracking.

· Ensure legal compliance with labor and employment laws: PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, Bonus, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments/Factories Act, CLRA, PoSH; manage inspections, registers, and filings.

· Office administration and vendors: facilities, access, housekeeping/security/canteen, travel, stationery, asset issuance/return, insurance/AMC renewals, and vendor SLAs.

· Reporting, audits, and controls: HR dashboards, headcount/attrition, attendance, payroll reconciliations, statutory registers, audit readiness, RBAC and maker-checker controls.

Qualifications

· 3–6 years of hands-on HR operations covering recruitment, admin, payroll, and labor compliance.

· Proficiency with HRIS/Payroll tools and advanced Excel/Google Sheets; experience with attendance/leave systems.

· Detail-oriented, discreet with employee data, and clear written and verbal communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
