We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to support our human resources team. This role involves managing various administrative tasks and coordinating office operations. Responsibilities
- Manage desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate employee records using ADP, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Support calendar management for HR activities, meetings, and interviews
- Prepare and proofread documents, correspondence, and reports ensuring accuracy and clarity
- Coordinate office supplies inventory and oversee general office management tasks
- Provide customer support to employees and applicants via phone, email, or in person
- Assist with onboarding processes, including scheduling interviews organizing new hire documentation and compliance training
- Handle clerical duties such as typing, proofreading, and maintaining organized files
- Support bookkeeping activities related to HR expenses and vendor payments
Experience
- Prior office management or administrative experience preferred
- Familiarity with ADP, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and data entry tools required
- Experience in customer service or front desk roles is highly desirable
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) are advantageous
- Knowledge of office procedures such as filing systems, calendar management, and phone etiquette is essential
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting HR functions like onboarding or personnel recordkeeping is a plus
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail necessary for proofreading and document preparation
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
