HR Administrative Specialist

We're seeking a bright, organized, and people-centered Human Resources Administrative Specialist to support our growing team and help attract, retain, and support the staff who make our mission possible.

This is an on-site, hands-on HR role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HR department, recruiting, beneits

  • Accurately document HR activities in HR systems and Excel, tracking follow-ups through completion

  • Prepare, maintain, and analyze HR data, spreadsheets, and trackers

  • Create, digitize, route, track, and version-control HR forms, workflows, and templates

  • Maintain templates for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, transfers, and off-boarding

  • Support employees and managers with HR processing procedures

  • Manage employee records, including data entry, verification, scanning, and filing

  • Support HR projects, events, job fairs, and continuous process improvements

What We're Looking For

  • Prior demonstrated experience work in a Human Resources or Recruiting department, preferably within a non-profit

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Awareness of labor and employment laws, terminology and working knolwedge and experience preferred

  • Strong organizational, Excel, MS Office, and HRIS skills - must be tech savvy/agile (social media a super plus)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills-must be comfortable talking on the phone and in-person.

  • High attention to detail, strong time management, and discretion with confidential information

  • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with a flexible, "will-do" attitude

  • Reliable personal vehicle required for commuting between sites, errands, and job fairs

  • A positive mindset geared toward process improvement, problem-solving and teamwork

Additional Information

  • Employment Type: Full-time, hourly onsite Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (flexible), 35 Hour workweek.
