HR Advisor

The HR Advisor will provide comprehensive support across the HR function, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to while assisting with employee relations and recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to make an impact.

Description

  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment processes, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
  • Support learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Contribute to HR reporting and analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Advise managers and staff on HR best practices to foster a positive working environment.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on HR projects and organisational initiatives.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Prior experience in a HR Advisor role, preferably within the education sector.
  • A strong understanding of UK employment law and HR practices.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • A relevant qualification in human resources or equivalent experience is advantageous.
