Job Title: HR Analyst

Job Summary:

The HR Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting human resources data to support strategic decision-making and optimize HR operations. This role combines technical and analytical skills with a strong understanding of HR processes and best practices. The HR Analyst plays a key role in workforce planning, compensation analysis, performance metrics, HR systems management, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:1. HR Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Gather, interpret, and analyze HR-related data (e.g., turnover rates, compensation trends, hiring metrics).
  • Develop regular and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor key HR metrics and KPIs to identify trends and suggest improvements.

2. HR Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain and ensure data accuracy in HR Information Systems (HRIS), such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or BambooHR.
  • Support system upgrades, data migrations, and implementations of new HR tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR departments to ensure systems meet business needs.

3. Compensation & Benefits Analysis

  • Assist in salary benchmarking and compensation analysis using internal and market data.
  • Support benefits administration by analyzing enrollment data and utilization trends.
  • Evaluate pay equity, job classifications, and salary structures.

4. Workforce Planning & Talent Analytics

  • Contribute to workforce planning through headcount tracking, attrition analysis, and forecasting.
  • Provide insights on recruitment effectiveness, diversity metrics, and succession planning.

5. Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure HR data practices align with labor laws, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
  • Monitor and report on compliance issues such as mandatory training, certifications, and background checks.

6. Continuous Improvement & Project Support

  • Participate in HR projects aimed at process improvement, policy updates, and system enhancements.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve HR services and employee experience.
  • Support change management initiatives and HR transformation efforts.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret data and identify trends or issues.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle), Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and analysis.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication, capable of presenting data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Confidentiality: Maintains strict confidentiality of employee data and sensitive information.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identifies issues and proposes solutions to HR and business leaders.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
