HR and Admin Officer Job Description (Odoo Experience)
JobBrief: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR and Admin Officer to support our Human Resources and Administration departments, with proven experience in utilizing the Odoo ERP system. In this role, you will manage personnel records, coordinate daily office operations, and ensure data accuracy within Odoo's HR, attendance, time off, and recruitment modules. Key Responsibilities
- Odoo System Administration:
- Manage and configure Odoo modules related to HR, Administration, and Operations (e.g., Employees, Recruitment, Time Off, Attendance, Payroll).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data entry in Odoo, including new hire information, contracts, and leave requests.
- Generate reports and dashboards from Odoo for management on HR-related metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover rate, attendance logs).
- Provide first-level support and training to staff on the effective use of Odoo HR functionalities.
- Coordinate with the Odoo technical support team for system upgrades, bug fixes, and customizations.
- Human Resources Support:
- Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including publishing job ads on various platforms, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience and proper documentation.
- Gather payroll data, such as working days, attendance, and leave information, and provide it to the finance/payroll department for processing.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, training sessions, and company events.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal company policies, maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Administrative Duties:
- Oversee daily administrative operations, including office maintenance, supplies inventory, and vendor management.
- Manage correspondence (emails, letters) and handle travel arrangements, including flight scheduling and accommodation if required.
- Maintain physical and digital personnel records in an organized and secure manner.
Requirements and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven work experience (minimum 1-2 years) as an HR Administrator, HR Officer, or similar role, with specific hands-on experience using Odoo ERP (HR and Admin modules a must).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in the Odoo ERP system for HR functions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other office management tools.
- Familiarity with labor legislation and compliance requirements.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
