About Us
Marigold Aviation(MGA), is looking for a highly skilled human resources (HR) administrative officer/executive, based in Chennai, to assist with employee relations, policies and practices. The ideal candidate should have experience in HR, including onboarding, exit interviews, administration of benefits and compensation, team restructuring and conflict resolution. As the representative of MGA’s culture, the human resources professional should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as enthusiasm for nurturing employee performance.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office operations ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance

Maintain, develop and implement employee processes and procedures, using HR software systems for proper documentation

Maintain employee data as per compliance requirements

Be responsible for data/file management processes related to new-hire and termination processes for employees

Contribute to and be involved in communication activities for ongoing and annual benefits for employees
-
Assist departmental heads to conduct performance reviews
-
Initiate processes to improve management accessibility to key analytical data

Oversee office facilities, maintenance, utilities, security and supplies
Requirements

Implement HR policies and procedures in line with MGA’s objectives and existing labour laws
-
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting orientation sessions for new hires and exit procedures

Assist with recruitment and selection of candidates, conducting interviews and coordinating with hiring managers
-
Support staff members who have HR-related issues and concerns and resolve problems fairly in accordance with MGA HR Policy
-
Maintain HR records and employee files in accordance with compliance regulations and MGA policies
-
Work closely with payroll and other departments, exercising discretion while working with highly confidential information
-
Coordinate and conduct training programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR to ensure MGA remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent

Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned

Liase with vendors, service providers and landlords for contracts, procurement and payments

Domestic travel as required

Handle travel arrangements, logistics and event coordination for staff

Manage office budgets, petty cash and expense control in collaboration with Finance
-
Ensure IT infrastructure, communication systems and equipment are functional and supported

Supervise administrative support staff (if applicable)

Prepare and present reports as required by management
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred)

5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a combined HR & Administration role

Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance and HR best practices
-
Proven experience in office management and vendor coordination
-
Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms
