Kinertia LLC is a growing boutique data analytics and AI consulting company that helps some of the world’s largest organizations make smarter decisions with data.
We are looking for an exceptionally organized, reliable, and thoughtful person to join our leadership team in a high-trust role that blends human resources, culture, administration, executive support, and business operations.
This is an important transition role for our company.
After many years with Kinertia, a long-tenured member of our operations team will retire in late August. We are looking for someone who can help us carry forward what works while also adapting our systems and helping us scale. It’s preferred if we can achieve several weeks of cross-training during August.
This is not a traditional HR role.
You will not spend your days dealing with corporate bureaucracy or compliance-heavy HR work. Instead, you will help make Kinertia a great place to work, ensure details don’t slip through the cracks, support leadership, and help the company run smoothly. This doesn’t mean you don’t need knowledge in the HR world - that's a must. In a smaller company, we all wear many hats - this position is no exception.

What You’ll Do
General Human Resources
You’ll help create a smooth, organized, and thoughtful employee experience from hiring through day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities include:
Culture & Employee Experience

You’ll help ensure Kinertia feels personal, thoughtful, and organized — not “corporate.”
Payroll, Benefits & Administrative Operations
You’ll oversee and coordinate many of the recurring operational functions of the business.
Responsibilities include:
This role is largely about organization, follow-through, and ownership, not deep accounting expertise.
Executive Operations & Leadership Support
At Kinertia, workloads naturally ebb and flow.
During lighter operational days, you’ll work closely with leadership in an Executive Assistant capacity, helping the business move faster and stay organized.

Systems, Documentation & Process Ownership
One of your biggest responsibilities will be helping Kinertia become increasingly systems-dependent rather than people-dependent.
You will become the owner and maintainer of:
This includes documenting repeatable processes and improving how we operate, implementing AI solutions where appropriate.
