Citiguard is seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role is essential in providing administrative support to various HR functions and ensuring the effective outcomes of daily human resources duties within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR practices and be skilled in fostering a positive workplace culture.
Duties:

Handling daily administrative and HR duties.

Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure smooth onboarding experiences for new hires.

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, and professional licensure.

Manages employee files.

Oversees I-9 compliance.

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Handles EDD Claims.

Utilize human resources management software such as ADP Workforce Now, for efficient HR and Payroll operations.

Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field highly preferred.

Two (2) years of experience in Human Resources required.

Proficient in using HR software systems for managing HR functions.
-
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

HR Certification a plus.
Required Skills:

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ADP Workforce Now.

Physical Requirements:
