Core duties involve talent acquisition, policy development, employee relations, legal compliance, and strategic workforce planning. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding: Overseeing the entire hiring process, from job posting and interviewing to onboarding new staff. Policy & Compliance: Developing, implementing, and enforcing HR policies, ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations. Employee Relations: Mediating conflicts, addressing grievances, and fostering a positive work environment. Performance Management: Managing performance appraisal systems, providing feedback, and developing high-performance cultures. Training & Development: Creating and implementing programs for staff growth, leadership development, and skill enhancement. Compensation & Benefits: Administering salary structures, benefits, and payroll. Strategic Planning: Partnering with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with overall business objectives. HR Metrics & Reporting: Tracking KPIs (like turnover, satisfaction) and reporting to management. Essential Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in HR management. Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and leadership abilities. People-oriented and results-driven. Role Variations Small Companies: HR Managers often handle all functions directly. Large Companies: May supervise HR specialists, focusing on specific areas like recruitment or compensation.
