Role Summary

The HR Timekeeper is responsible for accurately managing employee attendance, shift records, overtime data, leave entries, and maintaining timekeeping systems. The role ensures compliance with company policies and supports payroll by providing error-free attendance data.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain daily attendance records for all employees (staff + contract workers)

· Monitor and manage shift schedules, in/out timing, and weekly offs

· Track and validate overtime, late punches, early exits, and absenteeism

· Operate and maintain biometric attendance system/software

· Prepare and share attendance & manpower reports with departments and management

· Coordinate with IT team for biometric/CCTV/login or system related support

· Ensure attendance data is submitted on time for payroll processing

· Maintain leave records and update in the timekeeping system

· Highlight discrepancies or irregular attendance to HR & HODs

· Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for attendance corrections

· Support HR in payroll inputs and compliance when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Must have at least 1 year of timekeeping experience

· Knowledge of attendance rules, shifts, punch systems, and payroll inputs

· Hands-on experience with biometric devices & attendance software

· Strong command in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, formulas, reporting)

· Good communication and coordination skills

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Understanding of labour compliance for contract workers is a plus

· Ability to handle confidential data responsibly
