Job Title: HR Assistant
Reports To: HR Executive / HR Manager
Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources function with primary responsibility for recruiting blue-collar and white-collar employees. The role includes assisting the HR Executive in daily HR operations, maintaining accurate HR documentation, and ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, and employee coordination processes.
Key Responsibilities:Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and white-collar positions.
- Source candidates through job portals, referrals, walk-ins, vendors, and local hiring channels.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with department heads.
- Follow up with selected candidates to ensure timely joining.
HR Operations Support
- Assist the HR Executive in day-to-day HR activities.
- Support onboarding and induction processes.
- Prepare offer letters and appointment documentation.
- Coordinate background verification and joining formalities.
Documentation & Records Management
- Maintain complete employee files (physical and digital).
- Ensure accurate documentation for joining, attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and exits.
- Update HR databases, MIS reports, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Employee Coordination
- Act as the first point of contact for basic HR-related employee queries.
- Assist in attendance and leave management.
- Support employee engagement activities and HR initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR/recruitment (blue-collar hiring experience preferred).
- Knowledge of recruitment processes and HR documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
