GENERAL SUMMARY:
The HR Assistant Intern will support the Sr. Compliance Specialist in completing Verifications of Employment and Sick Transfers, and in confirming AB2534 and SB848 forms. The job will require a keen eye for detail, the ability to multitask several projects, and an enjoyment of a fast-paced, team environment. This is a 20-hour-a-week, remote job and pays $22.00 hourly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verification of employment, including loan forgiveness, income requests from lenders, and district requests
Support the Payroll Team with Sick Transfer forms
EDD – responding to EDD files and claims
Completing AB2534 and SB848 forms and tracking submissions from new hires

Clear the Department of Justice background screening
Authorized to work in the United States
Provide health (TB) clearance (renewal every four years)
